Hi, I'm Christine. As a registered dietitian and diabetes educator at Johns Hopkins, I teach people every day how to eat smarter and live healthier lives. There's tons of information out there about nutrition, dieting, and disease prevention - it's hard to make sense of it all! My blog will help you sort through what works and what doesn't while giving you tips to make healthy eating a natural part of your everyday life.
I've had a passion for nutrition education since I was in my teens, and even followed in the footsteps of my aunt, a certified diabetes educator (C.D.E.). What I enjoy most in my work at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore is to share my enthusiasm and knowledge about nutritious foods. Much of my time is spent encouraging people to take control of their diets and their lifestyles so they can live longer and healthier lives.
Throughout my professional career, I've struggled with writing. Why? Because I write just like I speak. So blogging has finally caught up with my style! I look forward to your comments and questions.
